One pattern trend seen walking the runway earlier this year was polka dots. 1. Go Metallic

Metallic polka dots, particularly in gold, also pair well with neutral, light color schemes. Neutrals help the gold pop all the more, making them a stunning accent in the space. Decorating with polka dots is a great way to create an updated, chic look in a modern way. 

2. Keep it Classic

One no-fail way to use polka dots in the home is to stick with classic black and white or a variation of it. This would include options such as nude and black or navy and white. Both are still classic but a bit more subtle.

The nice thing about polka dots is that there are variations to it. So, if you aren’t embracing the thought of perfectly circular dots, opt for something that’s dot-like, such as an animal print or dots that appear to be hand-painted.
