If the panels are glass, stretch the fabric over the glass, on the back of each door, using a staple gun to fasten the edges to the wooden frame. If the panels are wood, you can cut fabric to size and adhere it to the front with staples or glue. If you wish to conceal the staples, glue down some coordinating ribbon for trim.

(2)  Fabric-filled drinking and dining. Whether you have people over for drinks and finger foods or a four-course meal, set the mood with fabric. From chair back covers to placemats and runners or wineglass charms, you can add some personality to your entertaining space.

(3)  Creative workspace. Just because it’s a work area, doesn’t mean it has to be bland. It doesn’t really matter if your workspace is actually for work or if it’s just a nook to write, read or pay bills, fabric can make it a much more enjoyable space. Measure the shade and cut the fabric, adding an extra two inches so it will wrap nicely over the edges. Apply some adhesive to the wrong side of the fabric and then wrap it around the shade. Don’t forget to cut slits to accommodate the support wires before pressing the fabric into place.
